You may also be eligible to get a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your General Practitioner. This means that you can receive a rebate from Medicare for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year.

We understand that it can be expensive to get the help that you need. This is why we’ve kept costing in mind, by keeping our prices competitive and under the recommended fee schedule as set by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a Mental Health Treatment Plan?

To get a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you can go to your General Practitioner and explain your circumstances to them. You can then ask them for a referral to us. You will then be given a MHTP for 6 initial sessions, each with a rebate of $96.65 for a General Psychologist, or $141.85 for a Clinical Psychologist (as at 1 Jan 2025).

After your 6 sessions, your psychologist will write a review letter to your GP. You will then have to return to your GP and they will renew your MHTP for an additional 4 sessions.

Do you offer consultations via phone or video call?

Yes! All of our practitioners offer consultations via video conference or phone.

If you have booked an in-person session and would like it converted to a telephone or video consultation session, please let our support team know.

What if I don't have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, or if I finish my 10 sessions?

If you don’t have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, that’s okay. You can carry on seeing your Psychologist under our private fee, however you will not be able to get a Medicare rebate.

Do you accept private health insurance?

Before you see us, check with your private health insurer to see if you are eligible claim back the cost of your consultation.

You will receive a receipt from us once you have paid for your session and you can use this to submit your claim.

What if I can't afford a consultation?

If you are battling financially and will not be able to cover the cost of your consultation, speak to our dedicated support team to discuss your options.
