ADHD Testing

Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V)
This purpose of this IQ assessment is to determine whether a child has extra cognitive strengths or weaknesses. It is administered by our psychologists, to children between the ages 6 to 16 years old.
Depending on the number of primary and secondary subtests required, the assessment typically takes 65-80 minutes. As it is an intelligence test, it does not require any reading or writing skills.

Wechsler Preschool Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV)
- Band 1 testing ages: 2 years & 6 months of age to 3 years & 11 months of age.
- Band 2 testing ages: 4 years of age to 7 years & 3 months of age.
The WPPSI-IV assessment measures skills and abilities, rather than grade-level knowledge. It looks at progress in areas including thinking and problem solving, thinking processes and decision-making skills. The test is divided into five areas, namely Full Scale IQ; Verbal IQ; Performance IQ; Processing Speed and Global Language.

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III)
The WIAT-III psychometric assessment measures the overall academic achievement for students from 4 years of age to 50 years & 11 months of age. It encompasses several academic skills such as reading, writing and oral language, which are measure by having the testee engage in a variety of tasks, divided into the reading scale, mathematics scale and written language scale.
The test takes about 30 to 90 minutes to complete, and is used to measure the strengths and weaknesses of the testee.

Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV)
The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale is a comprehensive cognitive assessment tool designed specifically for individuals aged 16 years and older. It has been used for over 70 years to assess an individual’s cognitive ability and intelligence.
The WAIS-IV assessment consists of a series of subtests that measure various aspects of cognitive functioning.
